Core Beliefs
The following are the basic core beliefs of Freedom Baptist based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines. This list is not exhaustive, if you have a question about our beliefs please contact us.
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. We believe that the scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and that they are the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.
We accept the Bible to be the inerrant, infallible word of God.
The desire of this church is the use of the King James Version.
We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, and the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe in Salvation by grace-plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions of Salvation are repentance and faith.
We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the personal, premillenial return of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the everlasting, conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the lost.
We believe all believers are called to a life of separation from all worldly and sinful places and alliances, and to a life of dedication to Jesus Christ.
We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex.
